When Grandpa Was a Lad
A very large landscape wall-hanging which features a young boy sitting in a tree, foreground, looking at a scene consisting of many types of buildings such as a church, farmhouse, train station and especially a young lady out for a ride in her buggy and horse.

A variety of fabrics such as satins for mountains, green velvet for grassy meadows and lots of other interesting textures were used in this whimsical piece. It took over 4 months to complete this work and was sold at my second quilt show in Toronto, On.
