This wall hanging was a joint effort between the customer and myself - she dreamed it and I created it!! To ensure that the colour combination was correct, she sent me paint swatches, so I could use them as a guide when choosing fabrics.

The buildings and animals were printed onto background fabric and placed on a hand-painted sky. The fields and other details were machine appliqued and quilted using a technique called "free motion quilting."
