A special birthday is celebrated with 20 Dresden Plates. The fabric that I chose for this variation of the ever popular Dresden Plate included tiny pink roses and a soft pink and gold marbled fabric trimmed in gold.

Some wonderful formal antique family photos dating to the early 30's were featured, as well as one photo of the best behaved dogs I have ever seen - (not an easy feat to get 5 dogs to pose for their photo.)

Hopefully, this quilt will bring smiles for many years.
