This scrapbook quilt contains 81 photos and was designed by the family for their parents 50th anniversary. They decided a wall-hanging would work best for them. Cranberry with Forest Green borders were used as accents for the ivory-on-ivory background.

I used a machine embroidery stitch to accent each photo and added on antique lace border around the entire outside edge of the quilt. This gave the piece a very "Colonial" look. The back consisted of a family tree was hand-dyed to give the look of old parchment.

This quilt required a lot of precision sewing and measuring to have each of the 9 blocks uniform, but I am very pleased with the final results as were the family members.

Another unique idea for a pair of great parents. Congratulations on raising such a find looking family!!!
