DRESDEN PLATE

A new twist to a very old, traditional pattern. The photos were set in the centres of the plate were 6" in diameter. the plates were appliqued onto a white-on white print, sashings a deep burgandy to match the hand-quilted background size-72" x84" , but can be made in any size,

Many different looks can be achieved from this pattern by simply changing the panels inside the plate. The colours used in this quilt included panels of mint greem forest green, dusty rose, pale blue & royal blue, with a co-ordinating print used in each of the plates.

This quilt has a very romantic feel & makes a wonderful wedding gift, with or without the photos.
