RAGGEDY ANN & ANDY

This very special quilt was designed as a birthday gift for a" very special best friend," on a" very special birthday".(I won't tell which one, Tracy) Each section represented a particular phase of their lives together, from the 1st day of school to the present. The blue rectangles contained poems & letters.

Of course, wedding photos were featured as very special days! Raggedy Ann & Andy were appliqued throughout the quilt& the outer border is made with them "frolicing" around the entire quilt.

The back of this extra large quilt was made of a variety of patchwork squares using many fabrics from the front of the quilt & a few new ones. This was a particularly whimsical & fun-filled quilt & perfect for not just the young, but the young -at-heart. Click here to see the customer's happy reaction.
